Growing up in Birmingham, surrounded by faith, family, and community, I often looked at the clothes around me and felt something was missing. Everywhere I looked, brands were selling fast fashion, loud logos, and trends that fade. But I wanted something that could actually mean something when you put it on.
Quwwah — meaning strength — became the answer.
I did not want to build the first collection around lots of different words. I wanted to focus on one idea and make it unmistakable. Strength is something everyone understands, but real strength is deeper than looking powerful. It is what happens after the setback. It is choosing to return, rebuild and keep moving.
That became the hoodie. On the front, the raised arm sits beside قوة — Quwwah, strength. On the back, the message says exactly what the brand stands for: build. fail. rebuild. succeed.
The first hoodie was made with care, not speed. The aim was simple: a premium black hoodie that feels strong, lasts, and carries a message you can actually connect with. The electric blue and rose pink versions keep the same meaning while giving the design two distinct expressions.
Then came the part that makes the idea bigger than the person wearing it. If strength means anything, it should include lifting others up. So 10% of every sale is committed to those in need. It is not an extra campaign added later — it is part of what Quwwah is meant to stand for.
What started as one word and one hoodie is intended to grow into a community around resilience, purpose and giving back. Every order, every message and every person who wears Quwwah carries that idea forward.
This is only the beginning.

Quwwah
One Arabic word became the centre of the brand: قوة — strength.
Strength is built
The idea became a four-part reminder: build. fail. rebuild. succeed.
Front and back with purpose
A bold Quwwah graphic on the front, the full resilience message on the back, printed in electric blue or rose pink.
Strength lifts others
10% of every sale is committed to charitable causes so the idea of strength extends beyond the clothing.
